Welcome to Purple Thistle Vintage

Welcome to my store - I am excited you found it!  Opening Purple Thistle Vintage has been a journey and I have had such a blast getting here. Two years ago my daughter was home from college and would ask me to go thrifting with her. I had always hated going to thrift stores - to be honest, I hated shopping at all. But I went with her to spend as much time as I could with her during her summer home and I got bit by the vintage bug. 

I went from a reluctant shopping companion to a regular shopper pretty quickly and I soon added estate sales and auctions to my regular shopping trips in the Kansas City metro area. I enjoy finding unique, vintage, mid-century modern, and antique items. The thrill of finding something I remembered from growing up is indescribable - like the croquet set I found last week that is just like the one we used to play with in my Grandma's backyard! I almost gasped when I saw it. And I have just as much fun cleaning up and restoring vintage treasures as I do finding them. 

This is going to be a part-time venture for me. I want to thoughtfully grow my business and make sure I can provide the best customer service to you.  I hope you enjoy the fun treasures I have found and will come back occasionally to see what else I have added. I will also cross list on a few other platforms for now, but you will find things here first!
