Vintage Japanese ginbari cloisonné vase, pigeon blood red enamel, 7"

Vintage Japanese ginbari cloisonné vase in pigeon blood red (akasuke), with a floral design including a blue bird painted on the front of the vase.  There are bamboo leaf and bird designs pressed in the ginbari foil all over the vase. 

This cloisonné technique uses a textured silver foil that is wrapped around the metal body of the vase in the background with a transparent enamel coating. 

This vase is 7" tall and 4" wide. There is one repair just above the flowers at the widest part of the vase and some cracking in the clear enamel. I tried to capture the cracks in the picture, but they are hard to pick out with the textured background.
